Welcome to UD AvianGenomics
This site is dedicated to providing easily accessible information on the genomic factors influencing pathogenicity of avian herpes viruses and mycoplasmas and host immune response to these and other pathogens. This is being accomplished through gene sequencing and discovery projects, mutant/vaccine development and trials, and microarray construction and use. The journal papers which we have recently produced are available from this page. In addition, we have provided links to some other pages of interest including ChickEST, another page dedicated to avain genomic research at the University of Delaware.
Some pages contained within this site are password protected for restricted access. This is simply to allow us to monitor who is accessing these areas of the site. We are not trying to discourage individuals within the research community from accessing and/or scrutinizing our data, so we will give a username and password to any individual who desires access.
